Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, Pufin ID employs distinguished scientists from various fields including materials science, machine learning and applied mathematics. Our interdisciplinary team enables us to create state-of-the-art solutions to anti-counterfeiting, product security, circular economy and after-market traceability.

Thomas Just Sørensen PhD

Founder & CSO

Thomas is Chief Scientific Officer and co-founded Pufin ID based on his research and deep insight

within the areas of lanthanide coordination chemistry, dyes and PUF materials. Thomas is also an

Associate Professor of Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen.

Line Klit Olsen

CEO

Line is Chief Executive and Operations Officer and has an extensive background in maturing and scaling businesses, organizations, and technologies. Line holds an MSc in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and an MPL from University of Southern Denmark

Arjumand Hougaard

CCO

Arjumand is Chief Commercial Officer and has extensive experience within business development, sales, customer success, digital transformation, and global leadership. Arjumand holds an M.Sc in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

Kristian Per Bruun

Chief Architect

Kristian is Chief Architect with an expertise in highly-scalable cloud applications in the

telecommunications, entertainment and online betting industries. Kristian holds a Master’s degree

in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen.

Alexandru Diordiev PhD

Senior Backend Engineer

Alexandru is Senior Backend Engineer at Pufin ID with a background in developing highly secure, responsive applications in the gaming and online betting industries. He holds a PhD in Electronics and Artificial Intelligence from the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University

Andrei Mahu

DevOps Engineer

Andrei is DevOps Engineer and heads all Cloud and DevOps activities together with Pufin ID’s

professional AWS, DevOps, and Operations partners. Andrei has a Bachelor Degree in Integrative

Ivan Sahumbaiev

Computer Vision Developer

Ivan is Computer Vision Developer and Data Scientist and is an expert in neural networks. Ivan holds a Master Degree in bioengineering and worked with applying deep learning approaches to diagnostic

imaging during his PhD studies at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Eugene Mamul

Computer Vision Engineer

Eugene is working at Pufin ID as Computer Vision Engineer. He has been previously working with applications of visual search technologies for different areas. Finally, he finished his studies at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at the Belarusian State University.

Ronnie Hansen

Formulation Chemist

Ronnie is Formulation Chemist and R&D Lab Technician. He is an experienced R&D chemist with

extensive background in analytical methods, GLP and GMP protocols, and upscaling of experiments

from laboratory to production.

Mads Engstrøm

Lab Assistant

Mads is Lab Assistant and coordinates the lab student assistants. He holds a bachelor degree in Nanoscience from the University of Copenhagen and is currently pursuing his Master in Nanoscience.

Dennis Witthøft Hansen

Production Engineer Lead

Dennis is Production Engineering Lead. He designs and builds PUF production equipment by

leveraging his vast experience from building everything from underwater robots to vision-controlled precision machinery. Dennis has a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.
